The STEAM Magnet Career Placement Facilitator plays an important role in working with the Magnet School Assistance Program Leadership Team. The STEAM Magnet Career Placement Facilitator will collaborate with workforce partners to be advised on and address workforce needs and changes in STEAM for curriculum modification.
The STEAM Magnet Career Placement Facilitator will:

• Supports administrator to collaborate with core subject staff for curriculum development embedding national standards for career development (ASCA) in K-8 and 9-14.
• Liaison between the school and QOZ industry leaders.
• Arrange speakers, tours, and career exploration opportunities.
• Collaborate with the community-based job-preparation programs and recommends curriculum changes to administrator to embed the elements of interview skills in the program.
• Works with administrators to develop rubrics for the evaluation of student performance by employers at worksites and to evaluate the merits of the placement for the student.
• Works with content area capstone advisors to monitor the development of assignments for senior capstone projects.

STEAM Magnet Career Placement Facilitator qualifications:

• School Counseling 068 Certification
• Career guidance experience.
• Five years' experience.
• Fluent in the ASCA National Standards for Students.
• Bilingual preferred.

Days: Monday- Friday (hours per NFT contract)
Salary: Based of NFT Contract
