We are a leading company in the mental health services sector, seeking a dedicated State-wide Trainer to join our team. This role is integral to our mission of providing high-quality support to our Support Specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding, training, and mentoring our Support Specialists, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities
  • Provide onboarding training and ongoing mentorship to Support Specialists.
  • Develop and implement staff training and education modules for monthly staff meetings.
  • Perform Quality Assurance tasks as assigned.
  • Assist Support Specialists with caseload, scheduling, and time management development.
  • Ensure effective documentation of meetings with families by collaborating with regional supervisors on note writing and EHR training.
  • Maintain open communication with Wraparound Agencies and collaborate on joint training opportunities.
  • Ensure correct implementation of treatment goals and interventions from the Plan of Care by Support Specialists.
  • Conduct marketing and community outreach to maintain up-to-date information on community resources.
  • Develop and maintain a resource database of peer-based strategies and interventions for Support Specialists.
  • Complete documentation for billing or other purposes as needed.
  • Return phone calls promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Must self-identify as a current or former consumer of mental health services or have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must demonstrate a minimum of 6 months in self-directed recovery within the last year.
  • Successful completion of peer support training and Behavioral Services of Louisiana Required Trainings.
  • Must complete Required State Trainings and Train the Trainer trainings.
