The Specialist, Stakeholder Engagement will assume responsibility for collaborating with the Vice President, Government Affairs, Latin America, to strategically coordinate engagements with key stakeholders in government, community organizations, industry partners, statutory and non-statutory bodies, and other relevant parties. The primary objective is to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships, delivering shared value to the communities we engage with. Operating within a dynamic, bilingual environment, this individual will work across various brands, taking a lead role in coordinating projects and events.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President in spearheading the strategic development and continuous enhancement of a comprehensive Stakeholder Engagement calendar. Work closely with brand leaders to champion Project Foundation initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with the brands’ Events teams and GPDD regional managers to schedule community events and ensure they are executed successfully, i.e., invitations are extended with timely notice, confirming RSVPs, communicating boarding protocols (i.e., visitors list and boarding documents), securing pictures of the events and sharing them with Corp and brand PR for promotion purposes.
  • Formulate and execute a strategic approach to cultivate robust relationships with key destinations, partners, advocates, and community organizations. This included initiatives such as charitable donations to organizations like Rotary Club, local food banks, hospitals, and foster homes, ultimately contributing to the shared value of the destinations.
  • Play a pivotal role in Stakeholder Engagement by arranging and actively participating in meetings, ensuring prompt and effective responses to stakeholder feedback and requests within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Create and maintain a database of contacts to include federal, state and municipal government officials, chambers of commerce, tour operators and other local business partners.
  • Responsible for administrative task, including travel coordination, expense reconciliation, development of professional presentations and project briefs, and management of confidential materials. Demonstrated proficiency in handling calls and correspondence, including translation to Spanish when necessary, encompassing letters, emails, news releases, etc.
  • Ensure accurate audit trail maintained of all Stakeholder Engagements and all contacts/activities are recorded and reported in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Discipline/Major: Business/Hospitality
  • Required Years and Area of Professional Experience: Senior level executive administrative support with 10+ years of demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Critical Professional Related Technical/Computer Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Including Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Preferred Experience and Type: Ability to communicate confidently in English and Spanish and build strong internal and external relationships that are built on mutual trust and respect.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to think and act proactively.
  • Versatility, flexibility and willingness to work with rapidly evolving priorities with a positive attitude.
  • Must display the utmost level of integrity and professionalism in order to provide positive representation of the department and organization. Must be able to work with various schedules as the job demands including weekends and late hours on an emergency basis.

  • Tactical: Decisions focus on day-to-day activities within the company. Decisions made at this level help to ensure that daily activities proceed smoothly and therefore help to move the company toward reaching a strategic goal. They have short term consequences. Examples are: Handling employee conflicts, purchasing materials needed for operations.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

Travel: Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely.

The range for this role’s salary range is $61,000-$75,000. Offers to the selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
