Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for working with all Nursing Directors, Administrative Coordinators, and others to ensure appropriate staffing for nursing units. Responsible for maintaining various information used for staffing and budgetary reasons as directed by ANSOS Coordinator, Director of Finance - PCS, and Vice President and Asst. Vice Presidents – PCS. Responsible for completing NJ Staffing Reports, distributing to units and summaries as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work independently, relates well with others, and be flexible
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and orally. Successful completion of all orientation and ongoing education/competency programs
  • Must have basic computer skills; ability to learn and effectively use ANSOS scheduling software, Time & Attendance program and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) or equivalent; operate fax, copy machine, telephone, and other office products

The pediatric staff pharmacist works in the decentralized pharmacy satellite and provides collaborative pharmaceutical care to the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey including NICU and PICU, and the emergency department.
