Home Instead in Somerset New Jersey, is looking for a Staffing Coordinatorto become a part of our growing team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGiversSM in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain client and CAREGiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches
- Ensure all client and CAREGiver shifts are filled and information is logged into the software system accurately
- Answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
- Follow up with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved
- Recognize and capture opportunities to increase service hours to enhance quality care.
- Work well as part of a small team, by demonstrating open and effective communication with the franchise owner, office staff, CAREGivers, clients and family members.
- Ability to field new client inquiries over the phone as necessary
- Responsible for a share of the on-call phone on some evenings and weekends (Rotate with other office staff)
Qualifications:
- Experience in Home Care, health care or senior-related industry preferred
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily work
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
- Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to think outside of the box
- Have a “can do attitude” with a knack for problem solving
