Staff VP Compliance (Medicaid)

?Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This leadership role will take part in the hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and in office days 3 or more times per week. May be located within 50-miles or less to any Elevance Health PulsePoint office.

Summary

Responsible for overseeing and leading the implementation of Medicaid West Region state compliance programs, initiatives, and processes with consistent excellence that supports the company, develops the team, and honors the company's values. ?

Position Responsibilities

+ Plan, design, develop and lead programming to ensure an effective Ethics, Compliance & Privacy.

+ Oversees programs for multiple?departments/functions?with numerous stakeholders and objectives.

+ Collaborates with management to set strategic vision; oversees?manager(s)/director(s)?with direct reports.

+ Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Position Requirements

?Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years of healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience, including a minimum of 8 years of management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Ability to travel is required.

?Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

+ Healthcare operations and/or compliance experience within a large payor organization.

+ Progressive experience working with senior leadership and collaborating across businesses in a highly matrixed healthcare organization.

+ Strong?leadership/managerial?skills and the ability to motivate/coach staff.

+ Experience managing multi-state compliance programs including ethics and privacy programs.

+ MS/MBA/JD or professional designation.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $148,960.00 t to $268,128.00
