Description

Staff VPCarelon Client Retention and Growth

Location: Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model (virtual and in-office) with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This leadership role will take part in the hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and in office days 3 or more times per week. May be located within 50-miles or less to any Elevance Health PulsePoint office.

Summary

Accountable for driving and supporting customer success for Carelon external growth customers.

Supports the execution of strategies on Retention and Growth:

  • Serves as the support and execution of customer facing retention activities across Carelon (direct and indirect).

  • Maintains high level knowledge of product offerings across all business units for Retention and Growth.

  • Executes Retention and Growth strategy for assigned clients.

Position Responsibilities

  • Responsible for retaining and growing current portfolio of customers.

    • Upsell

    • expand and cross sell.

    • Maintain Service Level Agreements and Performance Guarantees

    • Customer reporting

    • Retention goals

  • Establish and manage Voice-of-Customer (VOC) strategy and activity.

  • Collaborate with operations and implementation teams to ensure seamless delivery of our promise.

  • Establish overall Client Service strategy for external customers.

    • Deliver innovation in how we manage and grow footprint.

  • Establish financial goals and metrics for the portfolio.

  • Establish best practices and apply to all external Client Service operations.

  • Overall responsibility to manage Client Service teams, align resources in most appropriate fashion to meet Client Service strategic goals.

  • Add revenue goals into overall growth plan – responsible for collaborating with rest of sales team to hit those goals.

  • Reporting and cadence to all interested parties.

Position Requirements

BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 10 years' experience in leadership role, accountable for strategic planning across multiple complex lines of business, products, and services. Ability to travel.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

  • Proven track record of Account Management Leadership in healthcare, including retention, growth/upsell success.

  • Possess a broad and deep understanding of healthcare and experience with significant large-scale account management, project management, and/or sales.

  • Account Management experience in healthcare solutioning and services.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed environment.

  • Transformation leadership and demonstrated success in account management and Growth.

Corporate Title: Staff VP Carelon Growth

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $198,400.00 to $357,120.00
