Staff Solution Architect, Manufacturing Ops Data

What You'll Do

As a Solution Architect in our Data Analytics subgroup, you will play a critical role in shaping the data landscape for Archer's Manufacturing Operations. You will collaborate closely with IT leads, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to harness the power of data to drive operational excellence and innovation. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, designing data solutions that align with business needs.
• Create and deliver reports as a service to business stakeholders as needed, ensuring timely access to critical data insights.
• Developing architecture diagrams and technical design documents to guide data initiatives.
• Providing expertise and guidance to technical developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Designing, developing, and troubleshooting data integrations, particularly related to Manufacturing Operations data.
• Providing requirements and strategic input to the maintenance of data integration between SAP and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless functionality.
• Implementing performance improvement measures for data systems and recommending enhancements.
• Incorporating security measures to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations based on company policies.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation related to data architecture and processes.
• Collaborating with data hosting providers, vendors, and consultants to deliver effective data services and solutions.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to data systems, providing critical incident support.
• Staying updated with the latest data trends, technologies, and best practices to identify opportunities for process and system enhancements.

What You Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience (7+ years) in a technical role related to manufacturing operations data architecture and solutions.
• Proficiency in data technologies and platforms, including but not limited to SAP, data integration, data governance, and data security.
• Proficiency in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and other shop floor systems within the ISA-95 architecture.
• Strong business process and domain experience in manufacturing planning and operations, particularly in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally within the aerospace industry.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other relevant languages that facilitate data analysis and integration.
• Experience with REST APIs and expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration and transformation.
• Experience in data system implementation, customization, configuration, and integration.
• Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with data performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in data architecture and related areas are a plus.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $149,600-$187,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
