Staff Rad Tech Sr - Bone Densitometry Technologist - performs images of bones and dense tissues within the body, x-ray technology can be used to calculate the density of bones
Salary Range: $54,846 - $87,754
Under the supervision of the radiologist in accordance with Albany Medical Center policies, procedures and protocols:
1) Enters patient information into the computer
2) Performing diagnostic procedures and obtaining diagnostic images
3) Provide a safe, positive experience for the patient
4) Daily accuracy checks on equipment
5) Ability to identify a problem, collect data, establish facts
6) Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
7) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures/protocol manuals
8) Ability to document required information /data on established form
Physical Demands: While performing the job duties, the employee must be able to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; speak and hear. The employee also on occasion will need to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch.
