Staff Nurse

Sunview Wellness is an outpatient treatment center who specializes in substance use disorder and mental health treatment. We strive to not only provide access to care, but to provide the highest quality of care using evidence-based, client-centered practices. Our mission is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for those looking to recover and better their lives. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Job responsibilities:

• Complete nursing assessments and documentation upon admission.
• Complete Drug Screenings
• Draw blood for bloodwork.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate appropriately client concerns to the team.
• Be able to lead group therapy on medical/nursing topics.
• Conduct nursing case management needs on a case-by-case basis.
• Be able to deescalate situations.

Job requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in the mental health field and substance abuse field.
• Demonstrates proficiency in communication and written skills.
• Knowledge of State and Federal statues regarding patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA)
• Team player, flexible, and motivated to learn.
• Holds a valid/current LPN or RN nursing license in the State of Florida.

Hourly Range:

• $27.00 - 32.00 Hourly

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
