Position Overview: As a Staff Nurse at The Heart Institute of Venice, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding patient care within our state-of-the-art cardiac facility. Working closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, you will contribute to the success of our patient care initiatives while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitoring and Assessment: Conduct ongoing patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to any changes in patient condition.
• Education: Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the state of Florida.
• Experience: Prior experience in cardiac nursing is preferred, but we welcome applications from motivated candidates with a strong interest in cardiac care.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications in cardiac nursing are a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
