Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and respond to patient messages and concerns.
- Review clinical lab data and other medical data, under supervising doctor, to better guide clinical decision-making.
- Works with staff to coordinate and guide patient care.
- MUST HAVE IV PLACEMENT AND MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION SKILLS.
- MUST HAVE A COMMAND OF CLINICAL ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS AND PROVEN HISTORY.
- MUST HAVE OUTPATIENT CLINIC EXPERIENCE.
- BILINGUAL IS A STRONG PLUS.
- Carries out nursing assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Completes and documents initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Performs care interventions and evaluates them against patient goals.
- Adjusts or modifies treatment plans as directed or indicated by the supervisor.
- Provides patient and family education on disease prevention and management.
- Delegates patient care tasks to other members of the team as necessary.
- Works collaboratively with the care team to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Provides additional guidance to patients over the phone as necessary.
Compensation and Schedule:
- Pay range: competitive. Depends on experience.
- Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week).
- Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm (no weekends, no on-call, no hospital or after-hour duties).
- Location: The Woodlands, TX.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BSN from an accredited nursing school required.
- Valid RN /LVN license administered by the TEXAS Board of Nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certification required or be willing to complete.
- At least 1 year of outpatient clinic experience is required.
- MUST live within a 30-minute drive of the Woodlands, Texas.
