Position Summary
Our PAT (Probe, Assembly, & Test) Operations Group is looking for a talented Process Engineer to join our team in our Palm Bay, FL office.
Our team develops and manufactures Radiation Hardened ICs to service the Space Industry.
Staff Process Engineer to work on developing and qualifying high-reliability semiconductor assembly processes and equipment .
The candidate will be expected to design, develop, and bring to manufacturing readiness advanced semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and assembly process technologies.
Primary Responsibility
- Sustain and improve high reliability semiconductor assembly processes
- Identify and procure new equipment for process enhancement
- Investigate the root causes for assembly losses and develop methods to eliminate losses
- Analyze Manufacturing Data for process improvement
- Work with cross-functional teams to enhance robustness of manufacturing systems
- Support introductions of new products into the manufacturing line
- Provide technical expertise as needed for customer support
Job Requirements/Qualifications
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Candidate must possess a minimum bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Microelectronic Engineering, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Candidate should be self-motivated and conscientious
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidate must have good presentation skills.
Required Skills:
- 5+ Years Experience in Manufacturing Environment
- CAD experience is highly desirable
- Familiar with Statistical Concepts as it relates to manufacturing (i.e. Mean, Std. Dev, SPC, Gage R&R, ANOVA)
- Familiar with Manufacturing Equipment (i.e. XYZ Robots, Wire Bonders, Die Attach, Ovens/Furnaces, Conveyor Belts, etc.)
- Familiar with Assembly Processes/Concepts such as but not limited to Epoxy Dispensing, Underfill/Film Attachment, Wirebonding, Hermetic Sealing, etc.
