Roles and Responsibilities:
Specific Job Duties: Perform semiconductor process monitoring and tuning to prevent excursion in high volume manufacturing by driving quality improvement. Lead deployment of cross-functional projects, which have visibility to company executives. Lead continuous improvement efforts by analyzing and addressing the gaps to improve quality indices. Champion in line and backend of line monitoring control and continual improvement. Drive the semiconductor fab post monitoring activities, utilizing statistical process control methodology to improve and minimize risks to mass production. Enforce compliance of quality operation systems in the semiconductor fab to reduce quality risk and to meet quality goals. Lead the review and approve of high-risk semiconductor tool and process releases by assessing risk to yield, reliability and device functionality. Provide guidance, communication and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, support group counterparts to reduce and identify quality risks and improve on the business process. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field and 120 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, will accept 144 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools
Requires 10 years of experience involving the following:
1. Semiconductor Fab-to-fab benchmarking of quality systems and set up;
2. Ability to identify gaps across the semiconductor fabs for various quality systems and implement solutions to address audit findings;
3. Experience in implementing various post process & equipment related change point monitoring methodologies;
4. Possess the technical skill in approving high risk semiconductor tool & process releases by assessing risk to yield, reliability & device functionality;
5. In-depth hands on working experience in semiconductor process technologies such as Etch, Metrology & Defect reduction;
6. Able to lead & drive task force teams to disposition of impacted material and improve quality by reducing scrap;
7. Possess the specialty skill in statistical data analysis of inline, defect, yield and electrical test data to make sure that pre & post change point data matches;
8. Ability to drive and qualify new semiconductor vendors & processing materials by assessing risk through effective post change point monitoring activities;
9. Setup & Establish new semiconductor technology business process;
10. Champion the technology development team to improve the key performance index for reduction of quality events;
11. Experience in enforcing compliance of quality operation systems in the semiconductor manufacturing fabs; and
12. Drive the semiconductor tab module post monitoring issue resolution to prevent recurrence.
