Staff Attorney

Our expanding Law Firm is seeking an experienced consumer Restructuring Attorney to join the team. Must be admitted or able to be quickly admitted to the NYS bar, and to the federal courts for Eastern District. We are a fast-paced firm with a great atmosphere and collaborative team.

As a Restructuring Attorney, you will be responsible for regular client contact, follow-up, legal writing and research and Bankruptcy Court appearances.

This is a full-time in-office position located in Melville, New York.

Qualifications:

-New York State Bar License

-Admitted to EDNY

-1 - 3 years of Consumer Bankruptcy Experience

-Proficiency with PACER

-Comfortable with drafting and filing legal documents

-Answering client inquiries

-Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

-Ability to multi-task and thrive in a very busy environment

-Writing Motions

-Corresponding with clients, attorneys, and the Courts via phone and email

-Maintain client files

-Court Appearance as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
