Staff Assistant - State Farm Agent Team Member

Position Overview

Seeking a Part Time Office Admin to provide administrative support and ensure efficient operation of the office. This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to answering phone calls, managing emails, organizing and maintaining documents, scheduling appointments, and assisting with general office operations.
Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
• Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
• Maintain and update office records, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
• Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
• Monitor and manage office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained
• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as processing invoices and expense reports
• Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, typing, and photocopying
• Assist with organizing and coordinating company events or meetings
• Collaborate with other Team Members to ensure smooth office operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as an office admin, administrative assistant, or similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, with the possibility of occasional overtime as needed
