Description
The primary purpose of this position is to support the accounting and financial reporting functions, including budgeting and forecasting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation and input of general ledger entries for statutory, GAAP and internal accounting.
- Participation in month-end closing and reporting activities, including reports for the board of directors.
- Financial statement analysis and flux explanations.
- Account analysis and reconciliations.
- Assist with yearly budgeting/forecasting process.
- Research of various accounting issues for conformity to GAAP.
- Research and recover of outages of various accounts
- Manage multiple payment platforms
- Monitor receivables and perform cash application
- Creating Time Clock Invoices and Leases as requested by Sales, CRRs, and other client facing titles.
- Managing the Time Clock deposits, keep a detailed schedule and maintain clock revenue records.
- Miscellaneous projects or duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance as required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business
Experience:
- Knowledge of GAAP
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Master's degree in Accounting/Business.
- Certified Public Accountant License
Experience:
- 1+ years' applicable experience
- SOX experience
Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
- Work in a face paced environment
- Ability to meet critical deadlines
- Eagerness to continue learning
- Extremely detail oriented
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively
