This Staff Accountant opportunity is great for an individual that is organized, process driven, and detail oriented. This is an on-site role and you will be required to work in our corporate office Monday-Friday. Our corporate office is located in West Des Moines, IA.
What you'd do as a Staff Accountant at Care Initiatives:
- Reconcile bank accounts and fixed assets.
- Analyze trends, review revenue/expense fluctuations and investigate reasons for fluctuations.
- Analyze and prepare financial statements on a location and consolidated basis.
- Participate in annual financial audit preparation.
- Participate in annual budget preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- 1 year of experience in accounting is preferred.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus!
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
