Form of workAHT Cooling System USA, a leader in refrigeration systems for the grocery and convenience industry is looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountantto assume responsibility for general accounting duties including preparing journal entries, preparing financial statements, assisting with month-end close and administering the sales and use tax program.
Other key elements of the role include:
- Collect, analyze and determine eligibility for capitalization of fixed assets
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of fixed asset ledger within the ERP system
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Enter monthly, quarterly, and yearly provisions and pre-paids
- Assist with external and internal financial audits
- Complete account risk profile reconciliation
- Maintain balance sheet schedules and ledgers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years general accounting experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and/or bookkeeping procedures
- Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, and email systems is required
- Previous experience with ERP systems (SAP is preferred)
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, team skills, intercultural understanding
