Job Summary
We are searching for a temporary, part-time Staff Accountant to help with accounts payable and receivable. Our ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, has accounting experience and has worked with NetSuite technology in the past.
This is a part-time, hybrid position based in the greater Chicago metro area, reporting to the Corporate Controller. In 2024, Vibes was recognized as one of Built In’s Best Place to Work.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Post cash transactions daily and reconcile cash and credit card accounts
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including monthly billing and invoice follow-up
- Respond to customer inquires and requests
- Assist with month-end close and reporting, including revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete special projects as needed
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years’ experience in Accounting or Finance field
- 2+ years’ experience with NetSuite
- Previous experience processing vendor billing/payments (use of Ramp or similar A/P technology a plus)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organization, time management and communication skills
- Ability to build trust and strong relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Professional, high-integrity, reliable and results-oriented
- Superior MS Office skills
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in the SaaS space

Compensation
The compensation range for this role is $35 to $50 per hour. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
