About the Position:

This position will be hybrid during the first 90 days with approximately 2 days per week in our Carmel, Indiana office. The position is eligible to be fully remote after training.

Responsibilities:

• Provide implementation and onboarding services for our new and existing accounting clients.
  • Work with the Tech Services team during the onboarding and implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for our Clients
  • Initiate system accounts for new Clients in our standard client-facing tech stack
  • Prepare materials, slides, cheat sheets, sample invoices and receipts, and prep demo accounts for our Client education sessions.
  • Update system access when Client contacts or internal team members change
  • Participate in process documentation, including recommendations for improvement in our internal processes
  • Ensures our team has appropriate access to all relevant systems, escalating when necessary. Participate in additional research projects related to accounting technology

• Provide recurring accounting services at the Staff Accountant I level
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions for our recurring Clients
  • Handle reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis
  • Handle recurring journal entries
  • Provide client updates, answer questions and escalate to a controller as necessary

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 0 - 1 year of related experience
• Excel skills and experience with accounting apps preferred.
• College coursework in Information Systems is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with extremely strong attention to detail
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively while balancing multiple projects
• Advanced problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities and new systems
