Job Summary:
This position is directly responsible for the handling of accounting duties for the organization, including but not limited to account reconciliation, preparing and processing of accurate data for the records for Black Women for Wellness.
1. Bank account reconciliations
2. General Ledger Reconciliations
3. Accounts payable
4. Accounts Receivable
5. Journal Entries
6. Filing
7. Other duties as assigned, depending on department and organizational needs.

Skills and Experience:
1. BS/BA College degree required including, requisite college level courses in accounting, finance and business, non-profit industry experience.
2. A minimum of one year of non-profit experience.
3. Knowledge of non-profit GAAP
4. Experience using QuickBooks desktop, Microsoft Office, intermediate Excel skills, and general knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
5. Good customer service to vendors and staff. Must interface well with others.
6. Flexibility to handle complex multiple tasks.
7. Set priorities and deal effectively with shifting priorities.
8. Ability to work well under pressure and adhere to the strict deadlines of the position.
9. Must be computer savvy, detail oriented, and efficient.
10. Familiar with Single-Audits
