Job Title: Staff Accountant Intern

Job Description:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Staff Accountant Intern to join our team in Orlando, FL. This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $47,000 per annum, designed for recent graduates or final-year students with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. As a Staff Accountant Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions, contributing to our financial efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Help with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Aid in the preparation and filing of tax documents.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
- Collaborate in implementing and improving accounting procedures and controls.
- Engage in audit preparation and support.
- Work closely with senior accountants and other team members on ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong academic track record.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $47,000.00 per year
