Staff Accountant For Cpa Office - Pt Or Ft Opportunity

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Ø Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements & compilation reports that provide our clients with meaningful tools they can use to manage their business

Ø Prepare year end trial balances for tax and financial reporting purposes

Ø Prepare payroll tax returns and advise clients regarding payroll tax deposit requirements

Ø Prepare bank reconciliations and sales tax returns

Ø Responsibility for a specific group of clients

Experience:

• 1 to 5 years of recent U.S. public accounting firm experience is highly preferred
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Accounting CS / Ultratax software is a plus.
• Quickbooks expertise is a must

Prior public accounting experience in a CPA office similar to ours would be preferred.
