Staff Accountant

Job Summary:
The Staff Accountant reviews Accounting Clerk transactions, processes inventory A/P, prepares A/P check runs and manages credit card transactions.
Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare AP check runs per established cycle.
• Accurately review, code and process inventory vendor invoices.
• Monitor A/R aging and pursues delinquent balances, with assistance from the Accounting Clerk.
• Resolve vendor and customer inquiries escalated from the Accounting Clerk.
• Collect and process purchase card receipts; reconciles credit card statements.
• Create, review & updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as necessary.
• Performs month end close procedures and analysis per close plan.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Accounting Principles (GAAP) and industry best practices.
• 5+ years in full cycle accounting, preferably in the beverage industry.
• Strong experience in QB online, Excel, A/P processing, Balance Sheet Account reconciliations.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and be a team player.
• High attention to details, strong analytical skills & problem - solving skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
