SGS, LLC is a General Contractor / Design-Builder in Yukon, Oklahoma with an immediate opening for an experienced Accountant!
Responsibilities:
- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Weekly Payroll including Payroll Tax Reporting, Health Insurance, 401(k), Section 125, HRA, and other HR related issues
- Certified Payroll for Federal Projects
- Bank reconciliations
- General Ledger reconciliations and adjustments
- Job Cost reconciliations and Work In Progress schedules
- Cash Management
- Monthly Financial Statement preparation
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform internal audits, ensuring adherence to standards and requirements
- Ability to create new processes to improve financial efficiency
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software and Sage 300 Construction Software and capable of performing all accounting activities up to (but not including) tax preparation and audits (tax returns and audits performed by CPA)
- Candidates must understand labor laws governing employees including but not limited to ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations
- Requirements include a four-year accounting degree plus a minimum two years of relevant work experience
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
