Growing SAAS organization seeking STAFF ACCOUNTANT to assist with accounts receivable invoicing and collections. Must possess strong customer relation skills, be well organized with strong attention to detail, be a self-starter and have outstanding Excel skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Generate weekly and monthly invoices and email to customers
· Generate weekly accounts receivable aging and manage soft collection efforts, generally via email
· Reconciliation of customer accounts, cash receipts and research customer inquires
· Posting customer cash receipts and bank reconciliations
· Maintain customer relationships and new customer setups
· Collection Projections to assist with cash forecasting
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
· Provide support to other accounting team members as needed
Possibility to consider a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with these additional responsibilities
· Reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries
· Prepare reports for various departments
· Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes
· Assist with process improvements and special projects
· Maintain fixed asset ledgers, additions, disposals and depreciation
· 3-5 years relevant accounting experience
IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM/PROVEN EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Exhibits meticulous attention to details and commitment to excellence.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective professional communication skills, both written and verbal – internal and external
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Is eager to fully understand and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Actively listens and contributes ideas, offers suggestions and asks questions
- Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience working in a small, dynamic startup environment preferred
- Experience with accounting software Microsoft Business Central preferred, but not required
- Experience with Salesforce preferred, but not required
