Staff Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. Responsibilities include but not limited to, keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, and receipts. A successful candidate will be familiar with all accounting functions and QuickBooks. In this key role, you will provide accounting support and information to produce accurate financial statements for our franchise concepts.
Responsibilities
• Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, invoices, and other documents.
• Keep financial and other records updated
• Reconciling bank statements
• Processing payments from franchisees.
• Provide accounting and support for our franchise concepts.
• Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts in a timely manner
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, and other general accounting functions.
• Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in bookkeeping programs and related software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Extremely organized with this ability to track multiple tasks or projects.
• Microsoft Excel skills
Skills-Specialized Knowledge- Abilities
Ability to meet the demands of multiple projects and deadlines effectively with a minimum of supervision • Organized, patient, diplomatic and confident demeanor in working with staff, owners, vendors, etc.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Compensation: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
