Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely bank reconciliation and treasury daily operations.

Summary of essential job functions

• Perform bank reconciliation
• Prepare daily cash report
• Reconcile and clear incoming cash
• Reconcile credit card settlement reporting
• Create journal entries for bank transfers and fees

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with any internal information managements system
• Must be highly detail oriented and organized
• Must be able to prioritize to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal directions from supervisor.
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external agencies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Must have strong computer skills, including MS Word and Outlook.
• Microsoft Excel V-lookup and Pivot Table (strongly preferred).
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Work Environment

Standard office and computer equipment including MSOffice software, computer and telephone. Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
