Staff Accountant

LHH has partnered with a Healthcare Organization in Carlisle, PA in their search for a Staff Accountant. This is a contract to hire role offering a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office). 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our client’s team in Carlisle, PA. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience, with a strong understanding of GAAP principles. Knowledge of Oracle is considered a plus. This position will involve performing general accounting tasks, participating in month-end closings, and preparing internal and external reports.

Responsibilities:

· Perform general accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

· Participate in month-end closings, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed on time.

· Prepare internal and external financial reports, adhering to established guidelines and deadlines.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

· Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

· 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

· Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.

· Familiarity with Oracle is a plus.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
