Staff Accountant

```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and possess strong analytical skills. Proficiency in accounting software, such as and PeopleSoft, is preferred.

```Duties```
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances
- Assist with cash flow analysis and forecasting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Maintain documentation of accounting processes and procedures
- Support internal and external audits as needed

```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software, desired
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
