Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant
Perry Foam Products, Inc is a leading manufacturer of molded foam products, with multiple Fortune 500 customers. We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to perform accounting, AR/AP, and administrative functions.
Role Summary:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate books via timely data entry and journal entries, while also managing basic reception and admin responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
· Record sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices in QuickBooks daily
· Organize monthly inventory count
· Process orders and shipments in customer systems, as needed
· Perform basic month end journal entries and reconciliations
· Process weekly payroll and review timecards
· Process new hires in payroll system
· Perform basic reception and admin tasks, as needed
· Support other business units, as needed
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping
· Satisfactory QuickBooks skills
· Satisfactory computer and MS Excel skills
· Strong personal organizational skills
· Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make timely decisions
· Ability to work under deadlines
· Ability to goal set and reach goals timely
· Ability to identify and communicate issues
· Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
