Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements, daily entry of transactions into accounting software, monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts, daily entry of administrative cash receipts and activities related to consumables and non-consumables.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares and post monthly journal entries to accounting system
- Posts payments received into General Ledger accounts
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts to subsidiary accounts
- Maintains all records in a professional and acceptable manner
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree preferred, 3-5 years' experience in Accounting or Finance
- One to two years' experience in health care setting desired
- Experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Little to no physician effort or strenuous activity other than incidental walking, standing, bending, reaching and carrying light loads (1 5 lbs.)
