Form of workWorks under direction of the Production Manager/Supervisor as a team member responsible to maintain department production activities, processes, procedures, and to meet production and other assigned workload and schedules. Will be scheduled daily and assigned weekends as business warrants.
Must be able to maintain safety, quality and productivity standards and follow all prescribed GMP regulations. Current forklift certification preferred.
Candidate will be lifting 50 pounds plus repeatedly. Must label and stack bags at the end of the Packaging Line to meet company standards. Will work at different work stations as production needs require by shifting/rotating from filler/dumper/stacker position and driving forklift.
Works closely with other shifts/departments as warranted.
Dumper/stacker personnel will be cross-trained in all positions on both lines.
Physically able to: sit/stand/walk/reach/climb/bend/squat/kneel/twist and turn as required by daily work. Must be able to move or lift items in excess of 50 pounds. Must be able to recognize hazardous conditions, take necessary safety precautions and react appropriately.
Prior safety and attendance records will be reviewed.
High School diploma or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Proven record for quality, productivity, safety and attendance relates. Thorough work knowledge of work/QA processes and company policies and procedures.
Must successfully pass required testing, if warranted.
Must be a full time employee not in a probationary period.
