What you'll be doing:
You will be responsible for assembly, test, repair, and to modify developmental and production electronic boards. You will also manage and maintain the instrumentation and test systems of the electrical laboratory. Usually work is under direction of engineering staff. The successful candidate will possess strong technical capabilities, an excitement and energy and a passion for their work and the impact it has on saving and sustaining the lives of patients. Work will include
- Assembly of electronic boards.
- Assemble/replace SMT electronic components using soldering station.
- Test electronic boards using standard test instruments like DMM, oscilloscope, function generator.
- Good understanding on various electrical equipment usages like Power loads, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Dataloggers.
- Keep track record of calibration of electronic equipment.
- Write reports or record data on testing and specifications to assist engineers.
- Build, test and troubleshoot cable harness.
- Build/assemble test racks and jigs as needed.
- Testing batteries.
- Maintain professional appearance of lab.
- Provide test equipment to users on request.
- Wave form capturing, reporting test details.
- Knowledge on conducting EMI/EMC/ESD tests.
- A demonstrated track record in managing and maintaining electrical laboratory.
- Experience in soldering/de-soldering using soldering station.
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining the component inventory.
- Understands schematic drawings, engineering instructions for assembling electronic board
- Exposure to tools like TCU, Jira, ELN, ALM
What you'll bring:
- Diploma/BE in Electrical or Electronics or related Engineering and more than 6 years of experience in a similar industry.
- Good written & verbal communication
- Should have worked under global environment
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $58,000 to $72,600 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus.
