Senior Tax Associate/Manager

About the role

Having started in crypto since 2015, we have stayed on the forefront of the industry's growth. Nothing surprises us at this point when a new client comes our way. The business is very fast paced and we are seeking a candidate with experience in both a Senior Tax role and Customer Success Manager. The ideal candidate is one who can take ownership of their book and uncover more ways to benefit the client.

Main Deliverables / Expectations for this Role.

1. Tax Return Preparation - We have a wide range of returns. Our need is someone who can work on a book of 1040 Individuals and Entrepreneurs with LLCs, S Corps and 1065s. We have an advanced tax team for anyone who wants to work more with complex returns.

2. Crypto Currency Accounting - We have a whole crypto department built out. Crypto knowledge is a plus for this role, but is not required.

3. Tax Planning - One of our unique offerings to clients is our planning packages. Part of Tax Planning is staying in touch. The candidate can't be afraid to get on the phone and get what is needed from a client.

4. Upsell Potential / Commission - We share the wins. As you learn everything we do, there are ways to monetize your book and earn more.

To succeed in the role, you have

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, adept at conveying information clearly across various levels

• Organization and attention to detail.

• Simple to Expert Cryptocurrency knowledge is preferred.

• Tax Prep Experience.

• Estate Tax or Planning Experience is a plus

• International Tax is a plus

• CPA or EA designation preferred
