Sr. SRAM Designer (5408)
Overview of Role
As a Memory Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with TSMC's leading process technology and portfolio of design enablement solutions to unleash innovation for the global semiconductor industry. Join us in the San Jose Design Office and be part of the team that pushes the boundaries of what's possible in the world of semiconductor manufacturing. We are currently operating in a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in office.
Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a skilled individual to join our design R&D team in San Jose and collaborate closely with our Headquarter in Taiwan.
  • Your responsibilities will include developing cutting-edge SRAM memory compilers through various tasks such as circuit design, timing/power simulation, netlist/layout tiling, design verification, and QC.
  • You will also supervise layout, compiler coding, and interpretation of testing results.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in E.E. (or equivalent) with 5+ years well relevant SRAM design knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of circuit design, tuning & optimization, timing & margin analysis, design verification and characterization.
  • Must have good teamwork attitude and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in E.E. (or equivalent) with 3+ years well rounded and relevant SRAM design knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge with SRAM compiler development.
  • Experienced in TSMC N10 or below advanced technology circuit design & layout.
  • Advanced knowledge in timing and power characterization techniques and methodologies.

Pay Transparency / Benefits statement
At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $108,000 and $190,000 per year. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location. TSMC's total compensation package consists of market competitive pay, allowances, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. We also offer extensive development opportunities and programs.
