Form of workSenior Specialist, Software Engineer Java Full Stack Job Code: SAS20232610-107550 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Description: As the premier provider of Space Domain Awareness mission solutions for the United States Space Force, L3Harris is looking for a candidate to execute Investment Agile Portfolio Engineering (IAPE) in accordance with existing Agile Portfolio Engineering (APE) processes to include an initial backlog: Integration support of Space Domain Awareness Net capability for USG approved MOSSAIC weapon systems/sites Enhanced development of data exposure from non-tradional data pre-processor (NDPP) to/from unified data library (UDL) for allied sensor integration Design/Prototype/Integrate/Deploy modifications to existing C2 systems astrodynamics support workstation (ASW) correlation analysis and verification of ephemerides network (CAVENET) and (NDPP/MPS) that ingests the flow of Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) via coordination with Missile Defence Agency Continuation of Space Data Highway buildout and integration from/to Space Domain Awareness Network L3Harris is seeking professionals to work in a dynamic environment to solve challenging technical problems. Individuals will perform command and control (C2) system software development, design, implementation, test, and configuration management. The ideal candidate should have experience with the full software development lifecycle.
Essential Functions: Utilizing JAVA Full Stack Understanding of Oracle 12c database Knowledge of JDBC connections between an application and a database Understanding of Hibernate Understanding of Space Domain Awareness mission sets and how messages are needed to be translated between modern and legacy formats Working knowledge of Mule Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)" Working knowledge of Wildfly (JBoss) application server Understanding of software engineering principles and industry best practices, including Agile development Working in a team environment to potentially include duties in other technical disciplines Having meticulous organization of open software tasks Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of software experience or Master's degree and 4 years of software experience. In liu of degree 10 years of software experience. 6 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java Full Stack development Secret Clearance (CSil and TDF access) Experience with Java programming language in the full software development lifecycle from requirements elicitation to deployment Preferred Additional Skills: Active Secret security clearance to start, clearable to TS/SCI Familiar with source code repositories such as GitLab, etc.
Familiar with agile development and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc. Understanding of containerization How to develop in a containerized environment How to deploy software in a containerized environment Understanding of NIFI and how to configure NIFI flows Understanding of Kafka and how to configure Kafka topics Understanding of Redis and how to configure cached configuration files TS/SCI (Bldg 1470 at Peterson SFB access) In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $91,500 - $170,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
