The Richardson Sensor Foundry produces over 250 million sensing elements per year, enabling Honeywell's global sensing product line. Located in Richardson, Texas (Dallas area), this is a position to launch a new product in a new high automation semiconductor assembly factory. The Senior Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer will direct process release and overall project progress, from equipment purchase to production ramp up. This position will report directly to operations leadership. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 
  Hands on Experience with Semiconductor Assembly Equipment: Die Attach, Tape & Reel, Automated Inspect, Wire Bond, Screen Print. 

  Will be processing owner for multiple assembly processes 

  Drive continuous improvement actions for quality thruput 

  Read and interpret part drawings to ensure processes are meeting specifications 

  Interface with operator, technicians, and design engineering  

  Guide problem solving efforts for machine or quality problems 

  Create and maintain process documentation and work instructions 

  Ensure all internal manufacturing, development, and suppliers are capable and conform to the customer expectation, product performance, and quality plan. 

  Develop and maintain company, site, and department metrics. 

  Install, Release to Manufacturing and Maintain Semiconductor Assembly Equipment for initial production launch. 

 

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

 

MUST HAVE: 

 
  Minimum of 5 years of Experience in Semiconductor or Electronic Assembly. 

  Minimum of 2 years of Experience releasing new capital equipment to Production 

 

WE VALUE: 

 
  Bachelor's degree

  2 years of engineering experience 

  Ability to Qualify New Semiconductor Packaging and inspection equipment. 

  Demonstrated understanding of process variation,statistical analysis, and statistical controls. Six Sigma Green belt or 

  Black belt certification is a plus. 

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
