Sr Scala+Spark Developer - Remote

Job Summary

We want to hire a hands-on senior developer responsible for designing and delivering technology solutions for transaction monitoring, customer activity review, screening, risk ranking, and optimization of scenarios. The candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders and architecture teams to define and influence the strategy for our next-generation solutions to drive innovation while meeting regulatory expectations. The candidate will develop in-house solutions for various data processing needs related to multiple financial crime control applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Define and develop the implementation of strategic solutions and identify tactical solutions when necessary.
• Write code that accurately reflects the requirements and design documents.
• Leverage DevOps to automate application testing and deployments.
• Desired in Actimize platform features and a complete understanding of ACTONE features
• Hands-on experience developing plugins on Actimize platform is a plus

Desired Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with 2+ in big data technologies.
• Hands-on development in Scala, Spark, and HDFS platforms.
• Must have implemented a project on the Scala/Python platform.
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of Behavior-driven development (BDD)
• Possess Big data technology certification.
