SummaryThe Sr. Risk Management Analyst Professional will assist with corporate insurance and contract related matters supporting day-to-day organizational activities and management of risk processes. Activities may include insurance and risk management support to various business units, contract reviews, insurance renewals, claims, as well as any projects of the risk management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively serving as an SME and point of contact providing appropriate advice for claim reporting, contract compliance review, and related risk management.
- Interface with insurance brokers, internal stakeholders, outside clients, vendors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and collect needed exposure data for insurance renewals, stewardship reports, and budget allocations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance coverages.
- Assist with claims management activities.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of core insurance coverage forms and principles, as well as contract review.
- Support the Department Vice President with various projects, analysis and other duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Education & Experience
- Undergraduate degree (focus on business or risk management preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in Risk Management or Claims Management.
- Existing ARM or CRM Certification or intent to pursue certification is preferred
- Experience within the construction industry is an advantage
Required Technical Skills
- Excellent PC skills, MS Office Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Business data analytics
- Understanding of insurance and risk management basic concepts and theories
- Experience with claims handling and claims management
- Fluent in insurance and legal processes
- Strong analytical skills with innovative problem-solving abilities

Accountabilities
The position demands intense response time; internal and external exemplary customer service; claims administration; insurance administrative activities; claims evaluation, and alignment with department and corporate guidelines for the enterprise.
The position is held accountable for the work produced, timely responses and responsible for providing explanations and support directly to clients (internal and external). As the Sr. Risk Management Analyst, you must understand the relationships between the client, the subcontractor, vendor, business operations, claim adjusters, brokers, and insurance carriers to be effective in the job. You will work with all members throughout the organization with an expectation of professionalism and respect. In this role, you must be flexible and able to work on several tasks at once.
