Job Summary: 

Sr Marketing Analyst will provide project management and creative development support of marketing programs and campaigns for the NRG retail electricity brands, focusing on customer communications. This role collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and works closely with several internal teams including brand, marketing channels, business teams, legal/regulatory, and operations to ensure alignment. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Retention Marketing and Customer Comms.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist team with implementation of marketing plans and campaigns for customer retention efforts.
  • Manages multi-marketing channel strategies by collaborating with business stakeholders and multiple internal departments.
  • Ensures creative messaging is differentiated among two brands.
  • Assist with developing the customer lifecycle journey across two brands.
  • Assist with implementation of marketing plans for bringing new products to market and the associated customer communications.
  • Assist with developing account related customer communications.
  • Assists Sr. Manager with monthly promotional calendar planning and implementation.
  • Collaborates with internal colleagues such as Product development and Go-to-Market strategy.  
  • Must think about consumer engagement and overall customer experience and is an advocate for the consumer.
  • Deliver relevant campaign reports and present insights to keep larger organization abreast of marketing activities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, business, competitors, and brand.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment.
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise.
  • Travel minimal less than 5%.
  • Hybrid position 3 days in person 2 days remote.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience in marketing, advertising, account planning, brand management or related field.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing customer retention efforts for a large customer base.
  • Experience with subscription-based industry (electricity, cable, internet, etc)

 

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Exceptional conceptual thinking skills, creativity that is supported by a process-oriented analytical skill set.
  • Self-starter: confident and ability to hit the ground running; minimal direction needed.
  • Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and manage challenging projects complete with shifting deadlines and demands.
  • Experience tracking and measuring campaign performance and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively (verbal, written and visual).
  • Ability to present to management and executive teams.
  • Excellent relationship-building & interpersonal skills; collaborate across departments and organizations.
  • Willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
