Job Summary:
Sr Marketing Analyst will provide project management and creative development support of marketing programs and campaigns for the NRG retail electricity brands, focusing on customer communications. This role collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and works closely with several internal teams including brand, marketing channels, business teams, legal/regulatory, and operations to ensure alignment. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Retention Marketing and Customer Comms.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist team with implementation of marketing plans and campaigns for customer retention efforts.
- Manages multi-marketing channel strategies by collaborating with business stakeholders and multiple internal departments.
- Ensures creative messaging is differentiated among two brands.
- Assist with developing the customer lifecycle journey across two brands.
- Assist with implementation of marketing plans for bringing new products to market and the associated customer communications.
- Assist with developing account related customer communications.
- Assists Sr. Manager with monthly promotional calendar planning and implementation.
- Collaborates with internal colleagues such as Product development and Go-to-Market strategy.
- Must think about consumer engagement and overall customer experience and is an advocate for the consumer.
- Deliver relevant campaign reports and present insights to keep larger organization abreast of marketing activities.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, business, competitors, and brand.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Open office environment.
- Some overtime required as special projects arise.
- Travel minimal less than 5%.
- Hybrid position 3 days in person 2 days remote.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in marketing, advertising, account planning, brand management or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing customer retention efforts for a large customer base.
- Experience with subscription-based industry (electricity, cable, internet, etc)

- Self-starter: confident and ability to hit the ground running; minimal direction needed.
- Strong ability to deal with ambiguity and manage challenging projects complete with shifting deadlines and demands.
- Experience tracking and measuring campaign performance and drawing valid conclusions.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively (verbal, written and visual).
- Ability to present to management and executive teams.
- Excellent relationship-building & interpersonal skills; collaborate across departments and organizations.
- Willing to jump in wherever help is needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
