Summary

​No covid requirements Looking for someone with Previous reception experience would be great – but can be trained.

Looking for an individual who is outgoing & friendly.

The reception desk will be one of the first faces seen when entering the building, so a welcoming professional personality is recommended.

They will be responsible for Greeting customers & guests, answering phone calls & transferring to the appropriate individual/department & potentially passing out guest badges & assisting to direct these individuals to meeting rooms (if the security guard on duty is away from the desk).

There is no extensive lifting, standing or walking involved.

Lifting should not be involved.

However, if assistance is needed with a customer/guest – no more than 50 lbs.

A cart is placed at the reception desk, as well. No driving is required.

We follow our customers dress code, which is SMART causal: can wear jeans daily (that do not have tears) & a nice shirt & shoes.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provides exceptional service to the business by greeting/assisting all visitors and answering and
transferring incoming calls from all over the United States.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets the public.
- Distributes name badges to visitors, temporary employees, etc.
- Issues facility access cards to employees.
- Schedules meeting rooms for all.
- Answers and transfers calls from all over the United States.
- Participates enthusiastically in company and community service events.
- Performs light Administrative duties.
- Performs PC Support and Administrative duties as needed.
- Acts as a model for Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Builds professional relationships with customers and other teams.
- Responsible for the timely updates of company phone and speed dial lists.
- Responsible for issuing of the Company Loaner Cell Phones.
- Assists Administration or any other team when needed for various tasks (envelope labels, compiling manuals, etc.).
- Understands other work areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Typically Required:
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of prior switchboard experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- MS Office Suite experience, specifically Word and Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated organizational and communications skills
