Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Sr. Project Scheduler with expertise in construction and repair project management, proficient in Commercial Shipbuilding software (Primavera).
Job Requirements:
Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the project team.
Allocate resources and budgets within the schedule, incorporating input from Engineering, Production, and Planners.
Monitor yard capacity and manpower requirements for effective resource management.
Input engineering and production progress into project schedules, analyzing changes post-updates.
Consult with the project team to ensure adequate inventory for production needs.
Assist in reviewing schedule-produced resource loading, conveying information to HR and Production Management to meet labor requirements.
Generate and distribute weekly schedule status reports.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of scheduling principles aligned with industry and government standards.
Proficiency in entering, maintaining, generating accurate data, and reports.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints.
Knowledge of creating Build Strategies, Master Schedules, Product Work Breakdown Structures, Budgeting, Resource Loading.
Experience & Training:
College degree in a related technical field preferred; high school education or equivalent supplemented by coursework or technical training acceptable.
Experience with Commercial Shipbuilding software (Primavera) is required.
Professional-level experience in scheduling or production planning.
Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
