Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Sr.Principal Training Representative Level 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is split between Palmdale, CA and El Segundo, CA.
Essential Functions:
Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for the development of e-learning programs.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 1st “5 AM – 3:30 PM” or 2nd shift “4:12 PM – 2:42 AM” and any work schedule.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of Aerospace experience or Master’s Degree with 8 years of Aerospace experience
- Experience with Structures, Composites, Paint, Electrical and Hydraulics systems assemblies and components in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment
- Experience managing touch labor talent in a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in/familiarity with training systems or programs
- Experience interacting and briefing executive leadership
- Experience with compliance audit processes and procedures
- Ability and experience in analyzing, designing, and developing publications and training materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), technical writing, and strong verbal communication skills
- Must be a customer-oriented team player, able to interact with staff members in a team environment productively
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance, as well as, Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (US Citizenship Required)
- The ability to utilize a computer for basic functions (including navigating through windows operating system, getting online, executing online training modules and ability to be trained using on the job software.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DOD secret clearance with an investigation date/periodic review within the last 5 years
- Active Program Access
- Experience with industrial certifications and instruction
- Experience with Environmental Safety requirements and training
- Experience with MES Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Experience with Quality or Quality Inspection Criteria and Processes
- Experience working with government customers
- Experience with government audit processes and procedures
