Position's Pay Range: $57,500.00 - 72,000.00/sal, depending upon experience.
Position Summary
As a Senior Payroll Analyst, this position will work with various agencies and the Company's HRIS provider to research and resolve tax inquiries. Will conduct audits of wage and tax data and employee tax setup and coordinate corrections and amendments as needed. In a collaborative environment, will work with other member of the Payroll Team to ensure data integrity and compliance. Is responsible for the setup of all new taxes within the HRIS system. Will follow best practices for quarterly balancing and is responsible for following Company controls. Will audit for areas of risk and suggest corrective actions and controls to be put into place to eliminate or limit exposure. Will be a major contributor in a successful year-end and will participate in all year end activities including W-2 accuracy and compliance. This role is responsible for keeping the Payroll Team update on all tax law changes and their impact on payroll processing. Will assist the Payroll Accounting team in balancing the general ledger, assist in funding and other analytics, metrics and reporting as business needs require.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- 3 or more years of practical experience in Payroll Tax with a fairly large multi-state and multi jurisdiction company
- Must be a tactical thinker, result oriented and team player with sound business intelligence
- Comprehensive understanding of Payroll Tax and the statutory environment, which will include local, federal and multi-state tax regulations
- Thorough knowledge of Ohio and Pennsylvania municipal taxes; working knowledge of Kentucky and Indiana county, municipal and employer/employee taxes
- Excellent ability to read, comprehend and analyze intricate regulatory Payroll Tax information
