Summary:
The Operations Planning Sr. Analyst will create, run and analyze reporting/instrumentation of our end to end supply chain and order fulfillment process. Responsible for reviewing supply chain/business planning processes and driving improvements to achieve world-class velocity and efficiencies. Will make recommendations to management about enhancing business processes, opportunities in operational/labor planning, and drive transformation initiatives. Responsible for the development, collection, maintenance and processing of daily, weekly and monthly departmental reports.

Pay Class: Full Time
Pay: $60,845.70 - $81,127.61
Essential Responsibilities:
Create, monitor, and maintain daily, weekly and monthly order forecast for manufacturing and distribution center.
Assist in development of production-planning strategies and activities to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Distribution and Sales Forecasting teams to develop accurate forecasting of inbound and outbound work-flow.
Support strategic decision-making and the improvement of critical processes such as staffing and capacity planning
Effectively gather requirements, document, and communicate the results of efforts to cross-functional team members.
Develop KPI dashboards and data models to assist in making key business decisions.
Analyze various KPIs for turnaround time, capacity, productivity, and forecast accuracy to identify potential risks and report to management.
Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis based upon business needs.
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Manage projects by monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Develop modeling techniques using machine learning and automation to assist with operational and labor planning.

Education:
Preferred bachelor's degree in IE, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field or equivalent combination of experience.
Master’s in Business or related technical field a plus
Experience & Background:
Four (4) plus years of related work experience
Strong understanding and mastery of forecasting and supply chain planning processes and analytics
Experience in data analytics, modeling, simulation and reporting
Excellent Microsoft skills to include various other software products, Power BI (DAX, M) and SQL required. Automation tools (R, Python etc.) a plus
Excellent process improvement, process design and change/program management skills
Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Language Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to write routine reports and prepare influential communications (email, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to speak effectively and present data to different groups within the organization including executives
Mathematical Skills:
Excellent mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
