We are seeking a Senior NetSuite Analyst to join our team. This is a Hybrid opportunity and can be based out of our Waltham, MA; Austin, TX; or St. Petersburg, FL office.
Job Summary
The Business Operations Senior NetSuite Analyst supports Imprivata’s business applications with a focus on financial system and business processes. The Senior NetSuite Analyst will be the primary point of contact for business stakeholders to prioritize, organize, design, and implement technology solutions within NetSuite with a secondary focus on the entire order to cash process. As such the Senior NetSuite Analyst will act as project manager, business analyst, and/or implementation engineer for small to medium sized projects and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of NetSuite.
As a member of the Business Operations team, the Senior NetSuite Analyst will establish themselves within a team of SMEs to support Imprivata’s Procurement and Order to Cash ecosystem. They will apply a consulting mindset to merge business drivers and IT best practices into efficient technology solutions that meet or exceed stakeholders’ expectations while positioning Imprivata’s systems for growth. This role will bring a strong technical skillset and understanding of accounting with the ability to adapt and learn a customized environment.
The successful candidate will have familiarity with SuiteScript and workflow automation as well as the ability to independently manage small and medium sized initiatives. This role supports NetSuite in an integrated environment with other platforms such as Salesforce. Experience in related technologies such as Xactly, Spiff, Avalara, MuleSoft and Salesforce CPQ Billing is a plus.
This position will report into the Director, Business Systems within the Business Operations organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be Imprivata’s internal subject matter expert on NetSuite.
- Fill role of functional lead and system admin roles on NetSuite and related systems, and Salesforce.com-centric business application projects.
- Fill role of Project Manager on small/medium sized projects according to Imprivata’s project management methodology.
- Act as point person on managing external consultants.
- Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to understand project objectives, use cases and business requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date Case queue for user requests and system issues.
- Diagram business processes and system workflows at varying degrees of detail depending on audience.
- Evaluate current state and research effective solution designs to achieve requirements.
- Apply problem solving techniques to overcome complex business obstacles.
- Configure production applications as part of project deliverables and or maintenance initiatives.
- Provide support for monthly and quarterly closing process.
- Provide system reports and saved searches when needed.
- Maintain post-implementation relationships with the business owners.
Qualifications
- NetSuite Certified Administrator certification or 2-4 years equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
- 4-6 years of relevant NetSuite experience including the Advanced Revenue Module.
- Hands-on system configuration experience.
- Demonstrated track record of creating meaningful and low maintenance reports from NetSuite.
- Ability to influence an outcome.
- An instinctive drive and interest to solve problems through building long term solutions while meeting current business needs.
- Can work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Process analysis and diagraming skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with NetSuite in an integrated environment.
- Experience with scripting languages such as SuiteScript or JavaScript.
- Experience in: Salesforce.com or comparable CRM system; CPQ technology such as Salesforce CPQ; Avalara; Xactly; Concur; AvidXchange.
- Experience as a customer-facing consultant.
- Ability to use SQL tools to aid in analysis research, requirements mapping, and data validation.
This position offers a total compensation range of $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
