The Cybersecurity division at OpenText provides comprehensive security solutions for companies and partners of all sizes. In addition, we are a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider that offers Microsoft products for resale through the Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP). We market to and through indirect (channel) partners in the small-to-medium business space.
The Microsoft Partner Marketing Specialist plays a leading role in developing, managing, and executing Microsoft marketing programs and campaigns across our partner ecosystem.
You Are Great At:
- As an integral part of the channel marketing team, own execution of an integrated Microsoft marketing plan.
- Digital campaign creation, execution, and reporting.
- Events planning, execution, and reporting (e.g., Industry events, regional partner roadshows, peer groups).
- Planning and execution of virtual events (webinars, training, etc.)
- Create and execute a plan for content dissemination (internal, external, throughout the partner network).
- Coordinate email communications as necessary.
- Help deliver and report on KPIs.
- Provide proof of execution in the Microsoft Partner Center for all eligible marketing activities.
- Work closely with the internal Microsoft team.
- Keep the Sales team apprised of the plan and campaign results.
What It Takes:
- Mature, motivated marketing professional with can-do attitude.
- 3-5 years of technology marketing experience in channel development, business development, alliance management.
- Understanding of the Microsoft Partner Network and program preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Desire and aptitude to be a team player.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple objectives.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience.
- Travel as required; approximately 25%.
- Project and time management skills – ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience and aptitude with common technology platforms (Salesforce, Office 365, Wrike, Basecamp, etc.)
This job is expected to pay in the range of $80,000 to $110,000 USD in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
