Sr. Metrologist/Quality Technician/CMM Programmer/FAIR
JOB SUMMARY:
Develop CMM programs for high precision, complex engine components in a fast-paced production setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop CMM programs per Polaris requirements
• Design CMM fixtures and metrology strategies
• Train others on proper equipment and measuring techniques
• Develop and manage CMM maintenance routines, plans, and activities
• Troubleshoot CMM measurement issues (programming, hardware, etc.)
• Participate in DFM reviews to provide feedback on design drawings
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
• 2+ years of vigorous machining CMM Programming
• Strong GD&T skills in machining
• Strong inspection first article inspection experience
• Strong computer skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• Quality Engineering background
• PCDMIS experience highly preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Typical manufacturing and office environment conditions
